Low Mileage 2019 Silverado suspension too soft - help

Hello GM folks,

I have a 2019, 6.2 LTZ (modest trim package) with 265/65R18s, mileage <20,000. I don't like the small tires, but it does accelerate quickly.

The issue is stability, which has me a bit anxious at times, especially at highway speeds. The front tends to bounce way too high crossing an expansion joint, ect.

To me, it seems like the shocks are worn out, but no reason for that, no off-roading, take it pretty easy -- most of the time

Any recommendations?

I've got a few ideas, maybe 20" rims, but still think the shocks got to go!

The front shocks from the factory don't appear to last that long. Mine were out by 20K and the truck floated a lot. It was a very smooth and cushy ride which I liked at the time, but the truck rode like a porpoise over bumps and on the highway, the front end continuously rising and falling. Smaller sidewalls from a 20" wheel and tire combo will provide you with greater control, but will do little to alleviate the bobbing issue. I upgraded my shocks (Eibach) and the handling improved drastically and immediately. I would assume that you need new shocks, Eibach and Bilstein being the most popular choices with the best results for daily driven street queens. Good luck!

I don't even like my Trail Boss shocks from new. It was kind of bouncy with the stock 20" wheels and I put on 20x10 wheels with -19 offset and 275/60/20 OEM Bridgestone ATs and it's even more bouncy now. I really think a rear sway bar would greatly improve the ride and handling. It would hinder it offroad but I'm going to look into sway bar disconnects and see if there's any that would work for an aftermarket rear bar.
