Actually the last two did as promised. This one clearly stated his distain for big oil and the wall. Both were under control by the prior administration. I expect gas prices in my area to hit 5$ by next week.

Off subject so excuse me.

A restaurant in our small town re-opened recently after the Covid. Prices are up %30-%40 from pre- Covid.

Won't be going there anymore.

In my area Italian, Mexican and Chinese restaurants serve more than one person can eat. The first and last serve free appetizers. Bread at one chips and salsa at the other. Usually my wife and I can get on the same page and share. Steaks are best made at home. Little things can make a difference. I’m not money challenge, I just hate wasting it.

We don't suffer from poverty, it's the principal. Same food 30 miles away is still the same price after Covid, our local joint was the same price before Covid. They just re-opened and raised prices. Gas prices have always been higher in our town than a town 30 miles away. Doesn't cost 20 plus cents a gallon more to haul it 30 miles. I only buy gas local when necessary.

It’s amusing how some people think the raising daily gas prices is a joke. It’s probably the most damaging life changing event in the most peoples lives.

its keeping people from travelling for sure,  but in a way I think its good in the long run

If there is any glitch in the transportation supply chain (truckers strike(?)) the stores will run out of food within hours and it will be full on "Mad Max" time, prepare accordingly. 😉

When I went to school it was the coming ice age fossil fuel was responsible for. Later it’s global warming. There’re getting cleaver now and calling it climate change. The problem is we’re being governed by people who don’t have any idea how people survive outside their bubble. Their get carted around in their limousine and live in gated communities. Sheltering themselves in their bubble. Even though I don’t believe in man made climate change. I believe in capitalism. Make an electric car that reasonably priced that can be driven a reasonable distance and can be charged easily I’ll consider it. To make all that work you need nuke power plants or hydro power plants. Rumbling around in the back of my mind I suspect it’s all being pushed by payola. Not climate change. Follow the money. Who makes the most money off these current policies. Where is the stuff made and who’s been paid. The oil companies profit is the same. Supply and demand. I wouldn’t spend money on leases without a reasonable term. And permits tied into the term. They’ll throw catch phrases like we open up leases, no one’s interested. They can’t get access, permits  or a reasonable term. Look at keystone stoped dead before competing. Can’t blame them.

this is looking like an interesting alternative for those with access to natrual gas at home, clip is a bit old but sounds like a fun project build for a truck , i'm curious what the numbers look like on paper compared to all other fuels
