Pretty soon these gas engines will be a thing of the past. 14-16 weeks to get a whipple supercharger directly from them. $7,200 plus Install and supporting accessories… roughly $10k. If the performance is what you say it is it is worth it!

Yeah a lot of things are so hard to get these days. I ordered my RK CF hood back in September and the estimate ship date is May…. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they move it AGAIN! My treadstone intercooler is also back ordered for…. Forever sooo my turbo builder just custom made me one with Garrett core so I’m not waiting forever for it. Along with a bunch of other parts. 
 

at this point, I can easily say I got 15-18k into my truck…. And I do 80% of the labor work. The tune and any cutting/welding is out sourced. 
 

it ain’t cheap but it’s definitely fun and different.

Forty years I’ve lived in Texas. I can’t recall until recently problems with the power grid. The only changes besides more people is solar panels and windmills instead of adding conventional power plants. Now they want to add electric cars. Sounds like a plan. I think oil power is going to be around for awhile. People seem to be wising up.

What is going to end up happening is the gas truck market will hold its value after you cannot buy them anymore.
