Sandyg
It's the speakers.
Brian Barbieri
Just got my 22 Silverado with the digital cluster. Bad static since almost day one, intermittent but still freaking aggravating. Here's the fun part, the only reason i have the 22 is because the stereo on my 2020 would constantly go out... Bring in the lemon law. They couldn't fix the issue so i got the new truck. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that if y'all are having issues, bring it back to the dealer immediately. I have 300 miles and am bringing it back in tomorrow. It's pathetic that GM can't figure out how to do electronics.
Joe Baker01
500 miles... same same. Radio half volume and static distortion. OK at very low volume. Also, screen went blank a few times but came back on. I had a goldwing basically with same issue at hi volumes.... was the battery being too weak. May a bigger better battery will solve this issue??? They blame it on Covid, chip shortage or Trump....Starting to regret purchase...
Steve1971
Received new RST around first of June, 2 weeks after speakers started crackling, took it to dealer they thought it maybe had blown speakers, took truck home, next day turned on truck crackling gone, week later go to start truck won’t start, fan running, day time running light stuck on wouldn’t shut off, after a few hours and some phone calls I pulled off negative cable, truck started and everything was fine, I think it’s a software issue
AT4 Bad Radio
I have the 2022 AT4, the radio static is only on the am/fm . When I use the satellite radio, all sounds fine.
ChrispyjCSLT22
Sound familiar??? https://vimeo.com/729423636 https://vimeo.com/729424691 I'm currently at 5899 miles, am I too late to bring it in? I noticed this at week one of ownership but thought it was a fluke.. then it happened again and again.. wanted to wait till mile 7500 to have it all done at once but it happened again last week so I filmed it this time.. Anyone know if a resolution has been discovered?
Joe Baker01
I think I figured out the original posted problem (radio static)... Disconnect phone and any usb/wifi hook-up. The issue is compatibility with an external device. Radio will work fine if nothing is tethered to it.. In the process of slowly adding external devices to see what the cause is..... a phone App? Wifi? Stay tuned...
DemonWorks
There are updates available for many of these issues now. Not sure when they will become over the air updates, but your dealership can reprogram.
Mark Ayars
Any update on a fix yet? The problem is getting worse and is becoming more frequent… extremely aggravating!

The dealership has already replaced my radio, which has done nothing. I took a video of it happening and attached below. Is what I am experiencing similar to others? Also my google maps is flashing a lot too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ks9v7a1_dvg Dealer shouldn't have replaced the radio as its a software issue GM is aware about and has no fix for yet. LostInIllinois
Randomly when I am driving home, i turn the radio volume up and it sounds like the speakers are going to blow out and are all staticy cannot turn it up hardly at all… when i get somewhere and shut the truck off for a while, it sometimes is fine when i get back in after a while and drive again… does anyone know of or heard of chevy doing anything about this in the 2022 chevy silverado rst? Benc1
I only see the issue when using Bluetooth for Apple CarPlay. Definitely think it’s software
