White audio and media cluster upgrade and steering wheel upgrade

Hello

I am expecting my gauge cluster from White Audio and Media any day now and have a leather steering wheel with audio controls along with the wire that needs to be added all ready to go. My biggest problem is finding enough time to do this upgrade all at once.  Can the steering wheel upgrade be done in one evening and the instrument cluster on another? Will adding the wire harness and wheel cause any errors if the original cluster is still installed?
