2005 no start no crank after replacing pcm

Recommended Posts

Looking for any help... I recently did a refresh of my 5.3. I put a small cam in it and brought it to a tuner wile there it Bricked my stock pcm so I had to replace it new one came it started after that it was flashed with Hp tuners started and ran. Then he made one more change and then no start no crank. I've been through every plug and ground I can read the codes which is lost p0606 and a u0107 how ever they will not clear no matter what. The pcm says the transmission is demanding 3rd gear how ever it I unplug it it still reads the same. I've chased the crank signal to the pcm but nothing comes out. So I ordered another pcm this one came and I have the same exact symptoms. Any input would be great put about 200miles on swap before it was tuned other the it wouldn't idle do to cam it drove fine. Thank you in advance.

Was the computer pre-programmed with your VIN on it?

Is it the correct P59 computer as well?

Things that can brick computers is flashing in bad data or making changes that can result in a bricked computers. Changes to certain systems options or things like drive by wire settings can result in a bricked computer.

If I was doing the tuning with HP Tuners I would install the new computer, read the file, license it and then make one minor change only to that file. Something simple like a idle rpm change. Save it and flash it, if that doesn't brick the computer then it was something else the tuner changed in that file.
