HD Refresh?

Recommended Posts

I'm in the camp of it will be the 2024 model year truck, but it will be out next year.

2022 HD ends production July 16th, 2023 starts up July 18th.  I'd expect the 2023s to run short or they will finish building those while the 2024s start up early 2023.

2023 model year will be the same truck as 2022 though.  I'd imagine they will debut the 2024s by the end of this year if lucky, perhaps January 2023 at the latest.

Boy, that makes it tough.  I suppose the smart thing to do would be to wait, although perhaps the new motor might have some gremlins too.

2023 HD order guides confirm it.  2024 will be the refresh, 2023 is the same as 2022.  They made one change, they added the front seat belt adjusters back.

Great...so we are probably talking a year and a half before a 24 lands at a lot, if not more?

OR it could be like the 1500's are currently doing.

Be announced sometime next fall and arrive as a '23.5 in about 12 months

But they said 24, not a late 23.  The 1500 is a 22, even the revamped ones.  I guess anything is possible.

GM screw'd the pooch on the 1500.  It should have been labeled as 2022.5 or just 2023 since 2023 production starts up around September/October.

Ok so let's say it does come out a year from now.  The 1500 trucks were starting to be delivered in Jan/Feb?  When were people able to order those?

They were taking orders by then, but they weren't building the new 1500's until later than that.

As in model year 24...

Yes, and you said a '23.5.  Sounds like 23.5 isn't happening, they won't be here till '24.  Based on the information we have right now at least.
