If my truck has been parked for more than a day, it will take 10 plus miles for it to start working.  Running down the highway the ac works fine, but if I pull into a parking place and idol, the ac stops cooling.  Once you start driving again, it starts cooling.

I have the same problems. Driving around town stop and go it sucks. I replaced the fan clutch thinking it wasn't engaging since ac worked fine at highway speeds. Also replaced the fan clutch relay. No improvement. I live in an area where it would take weeks to get into the dealership and I can't be without my truck for that long so I just suffer

I took mine to the dealer yesterday   Brent is a really good diesel tech. As of last night, he hasn’t duplicated the problem.  I hope he does better today    If he finds the problem, I’ll let you know.  I’m still betting that it’s the BCM

Matt,

Thedealer found the problem…. It was the compressor.  Once they duplicated the problem, it was easy to see the low pressures.  They’re replaced by the compressor and expansion valve now.  Thought you might want to know.  Good luck.
