Parking assist false alarm

2020 GMC Sierra SLT left front parking assist warning goes off intermitantly at low speed. I have cleaned them and turned assist off and on without success.

Anything I should try before taking to dealer?

Is it cold out?  Could be frozen which has happened to every vehicle I have owned since 2002.

could you have recently washed the vehicle...thinking moisture ???

I've had a bunch of vehicles with park assist.

 

Never had any issue with them in cold or rain.

Have had them disable when covered with dirt, snow, sleet etc. 

 

If you can get to the sensors connector, make sure it is fully snapped together and hasn't had water or debris contaminate the connection.
