04 3500 srw no plow prep offered

I have confirmed that the plow prep is not available for the new srw 3500. but have not been able to find out why. Anyone have any ideas? I am not really concered about the weight (bigger torsion bars) and can order the skid plates seperate, but would like the bigger alternator and the switch/wire for the cab top flasher.
