How Marked up is MSRP on the 2022 HDs right now compared to typical MSRP?

Recommended Posts

Maybe not marked up at all, but I just ordered a 2022 Sierra 2500 AT4 w/ Duramax and base was around $72k before adding options.  I have only bought 1500's in the past, and never built one - so no frame of reference for how marked up things are right now in these crazy times of chip shortages, inflation, etc.

Is this price more or less in line with GM's MSRP on 2020/2021 2500 AT4s, or a bloated sticker?

I miss the days of $15k rebates from the dealer at end of year.  Either way, my truck shows a 4/18 TPW date so hoping to have her by May.  Can't wait.

Sounds like you've done well for this time frame of truck orders.

Seems like MSRPs are up somewhere between $3K - $6K from '20.  But with the price of goods going up that seems reasonable to me.

Yes, I miss those days of big discounts too.

They put the order in last week about this time, she sent me the screenshot showing the 4/18 TPW this AM - I'm skeptical, but hoping that it's legit because my trade (19 Sierra 1500 SLT) will never be worth more than it is as I type this.

Here's to your truck getting a complete build, and shipping quickly.

For what it's worth, it seems that trucks which get a complete build, ship fast.  From everything I've seen on this forum, it seems the trucks that get "partial builds" and end up in the parking area waiting for parts, are the ones that get drug out for what seems ever.
