2011 gmc sierra 1500 4.8 liter swap with a 2003 6.0 and 480le trans will it work

i have a 2011 gmc sierra 1500 with a 4.8 l motor and 4l60e trans setup

i can get a complete 2003 6.0 l motor and 4l80e trans setup complete wire harness and ecu uni ect..

will it work...and what else will i need to finish it ...

If you want nothing else in your truck to function, then yeah it could work with the engine/trans with wiring harness and fuse block. Nothing else would function but the engine would run.

 

The simple answer is no, it won't work. Can't put a GEN 3 engine into a GEN 4 trucks like yours.
