How is it that there are so many posts on this topic from people who have a theory, say they will post with results, and never do. AFM/DFM/VVT and torque converter issues abound. No followthrough on these ideas is very disheartening.

Idk. But I do know that certain trucks were built without a certain chip and therefore were delivered with no DFM. Now, if I could just figure out which chip that is.

if you have the 2.7 turbo i can tell you that pulling those 2 fuses does not deactivate the afm . i drove my truck with gds2 hooked to it and watched the cam profile and it was still deactivating the 2 cylinders and i can feel it when it does it

With so many DFM deactivation devices why not just use one of them?

No DFM deactivation for refresh trucks 2022 & 1/2 and newer. They changed the electrical architecture. Range Technology is working on it but nothing available yet.
