Dealers can configure a truck but no pricing 12/15.  The first Dealer Order Submission Process (order cycle) starts 12/16 with some pricing.  Full pricing goes live on the dealer's order workbench 1/5.  So a dealer should be able to spec out a truck and get an order started 12/16, and then when they get their allocation, submit the order for you.

When do you think the first of the refreshed bodies will hit dealers? Feb/March ?

I wont hold you to it , i know the China virus is up and down

I have now called 26 dealers around Texas, Colorado and Florida.  I have got almost as many different answers on the timeline, all but one refusing to even give me a date or call me back after the initial chat.  I just gave GM customer service an ear full and she said look, we are not releasing any info yet, all we know is ordering will start sometime in the spring and production dates are still not finalized.  She said do not believe what you are reading on popular gm sites like gm authority, they are simply not correct, trust me.  So that left me feeling pretty upset but seems to make sense since none of the dealers I called have any information.  I even offered to pay 30k over msrp and they said, that's great but we have no idea when we can order any of the refreshed.  All we have are the LTDs.   I of course will not pay that much over MSRP, I came up with 30k cause that is exactly what a Tundra quote was for on Friday. :)  Temped to just snag a 2021 now and upgrade later on, anyone else feeling same way?

Funny.  The info I gave came from my dealer source.  Right in their November Consensus notes.  And the 2022 build out/start up guide.  Which EVERY GM dealer has access to.

AND.

My source just sent me an email confirming start of production for the 2022 refresh.

Mexico starts production 2/7/22, Ft Wayne starts 3/7/22.

Does anyone know if the 2022 Glacier/Dynamic Blue Metallic shown on the ZR2 is a new color or is it the same as the 2021 Colorado bright blue or another production GM color? Thanks

Same color, different name.  WA327E is the paint code for both Silverado and Colorado.

Now that we know the refreshed model wont be out until 2nd quarter of next year, does that mean there will also be a another year run of the LTD models ? So 2 model years now ?

No, when the olds are done, they are done.  Both trucks will exist on the lot at the same time possibly, but 2022 old stops production 2/6/22 for Mexico and 3/6/22 for US.  The 2022 new start up 2/7/22 for Mexico, 3/7/22 for US.

2022 new production run is short as well, only 6 months, then they transition to 2023 model year.

Just letting you all know According to the General Manager at my Dealership the Sport mode will be gone from the 22 Trail Boss. I received my 22 LTD and it only has Normal and Off Road Mode

What engine is in your Trail Boss?  If its the 2.7T, that configuration doesn't have sport mode.  Only the V8s with the 8 or 10 speeds.

I put an order in for a 2022 zr2 silverado in Glacier blue. My dealer guaranted me (in writing) 55,000 for my 21 trail boss whenever the zr2 arrives. We sat down and went over the options sheets and I picked out what I wanted. He then printed it out and gave it to me. There were no prices on the sheet yet. He told me they are expecting them spring of 22.

Any of course GM deletes Satin Steel from the 2022's. They continue to mess up colors every year. All we ask for is a nice gray color.. heck, you can't even get a true gray on a HD Truck from GM.

I just ordered a truck today.  On the managers sheet you could order Satin Steel which I did.  Not sure if I will get it though.  On the web site its not there.

Dealer had 3 allocations so I ordered my '22 LTZ Z71 Saturday in Glacier blue.  Had no pricing yet.  Here's a color swatch of Glacier Blue (Same color and paint code as '22 Colorado Bright Blue).  Love this color.  Lots of metallic as GM is known for.  I currently have a '19 RST in Northsky Blue.

I am going to have to look one over in person before I think about a order. They are fine looking trucks but I am old school and have to see what I really want.

Somedays I think about keeping my 2017 HC and getting a RCSB Pro and building it into a Trail Boss........somedays I look at the new High Country and and think that is the way to go.

I am very interested in ordering the refreshed 2022 High Country since it has the Super Cruise.

I looked at the Tundra.. $20,000 above MSRP.

I looked at the F-150.. the nearby Ford dealership has gotten a little shadier lately so I'm not quite sure if I really want to buy from them. Also, it no longer has a small sandwich restaurant inside which made my waits a lot more pleasant.

I purchased a 2022 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado Custom November 31st, 2021. Although it still has the 2021 front grill. I am trying to find out if the 2.7T in this truck is a refreshed engine or same as 2021??
