Ordering new 2022

It means your dealer is waiting for allocation for your truck. They only get so many per week and every week its a different mix of trim and option constraints. They might get allocation for a lt trail boss but only with the 5.3l and so they put someone elses order into the system that week.

That makes sense. I’m just still confused why I was being told it was accepted but now it’s not. Wouldn’t they have had an allocation when it was initially accepted?

You sure it was actually "accepted" (code 2000) previously? I'm not a dealer and not an expert in the process but I wouldn't think it would move in reverse.

Is there any one that has all wheels available on silverado 2022 refresh with there rpo codes???   Thanks!

Check out the order guide wheels section:

Chevy - Model Information - Online Ordering Guide (gmfleetorderguide.com)

GMC - Model Information - Online Ordering Guide (gmfleetorderguide.com)

If you then navigate to the "EXTERIOR" page in there, you can see the wheel RPO codes and the trims they are standard or optional on.

Positive. My dealer even called to tell me it had been accepted. These screenshots are 3 weeks apart from each other

Very strange. I'd ask your dealer for an explanation. They can look up the order status history and send it to you. Will show all the status codes and dates it changed to each code.

Placed an order with my dealer early January. Have a build date for the second week in March.

Feel I've established a good working relationship with my dealer for an earlier purchase in 2021. There was no hesitation to get my custom truck ordered. Unfortunately those having problems are with dealerships trying to oversell their allocation and have you settle for something that just gets shipped from the factory.

Unfortunately I was dragged through the coals trying to order my 2007 avalanche back in October 2006 like some of you guys are now. Best suggestion is to change dealerships ASAP.

2022 Chevy Configurator is up

https://www.chevrolet.com/trucks/silverado/1500

GMC’s Sierra page is down, so I figure they are in the process of upgrading it.

EDIT: GMC Build & Price is up now: https://www.gmc.com/trucks/sierra/1500/sle-elevation-slt/build-and-price/config

So something that I find very concerning, with the online configurators up. I went over to gmfamilyfirst.com to build out the exact AT4X I have on order. And a huge alert stating "This trim is not eligble for the employee discount". And it is listed for every single trim package on the new Sierra 1500.  So, if they are really not allowing an employee discount on the new trucks, there will be alot of people upset, including myself. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Same with Supplier Discount website. The Eligible vehicles page says that 2022 Silverado/Sierra 1500 is eligible, no mention of limited.

Says that the 2022 Silverado/Sierra 1500 "is" or "isn't" eligble.   When I check the 1500 Limited, I'm seeing an average of 6K off for employee discount.

It just says “Silverado” or “Sierra” under 2022. It doesn’t mention limited but we know that the limited is eligible.

All I’m saying is the eligible vehicles page doesn’t mention that the updated 22 doesn’t qualify. So either the build and price tool is wrong or the eligible vehicles page needs update.

GMC live chat just indicated that my 2022 refresh denali has been produced.  I got acceptance of my order back on Dec 27th.  Any ideas on how long it should take for delivery from this stage?  The chat indicated that shipping is the next step and I haven't heard back from the dealership yet on the status of my order.

FYI, today I called the number for the supplier pricing program. I spoke to a nice, but clueless guy who basically just read off the same website I was looking at and said no discount.

I called the dealer I’ve been working with and he looked into it. Told me the discount would be available on a refreshed 22 and wasn’t sure why the website listed that it wasn’t.

Im going in next week to order a 22 HC, so we will see then how they determine the supplier price.

Trail Boss Silver Ice Metallic STD bed 3.0 dmax

Ordered on 12/27

Order accepted two weeks later and given a build week of 2/21

The chat on Chevy's website as of yesterday said it still had this build week. Will check with my dealer Monday and see if it got built and report back.

Latest update is event code 3400 "broadcast" which means it didn't hit the TPW of 2/21. Don't know if it's because of constraints or just behind on production.
