Anyone added the OEM Cargo Light Kit?

Recommended Posts

Searched through all 22 pages in this section and didn't find anything.

Wondering if anyone has tried their luck with the OEM cargo light kit? Do all trucks come with a blank bed spot for them, even WTs?

They all have the blank spots yes.  The new ones kick azz as they just plug into the plug that's off the tail lamp harnesses.

The downside?

Has to go to the dealer for programming.  There's an authorization code in the box they have to phone in and then flash the BCM for them to work.

Thanks for the info.

Prob a good idea to get those, the garage door opener mirror, and remote start accessories all at once since they probably all have the same BCM flash routine.

Cheers.

Garage door mirror doesn’t need any dealership intervention. My WT came with the bed lights already installed
