Correct me if I am wrong but here are 4 lines I see running to my radiator and the condenser up front. 2019 Yukon with active aero shutters in the grille.  All 4 lines are the same quick disconnect style with the clip and plastic retainer.  Are all transmission related?  I didn't think the A/C lines used quick disconnects like these, but I'm also not sure where the engine oil cooler goes.  As far as I am aware there was an engine oil cooler.  I do not have a factory towing package, as in, no integrated trailer brake controller in the dashboard and no 2-speed transfer case (2wd, auto, 4-hi only.)

6 speed or 10 speed?

6 speed.

So the two big lines in your picture, those are engine oil cooler.  The two smaller ones (one on the driver one on the passenger) are for the transmission.

2019 Yukon 6 speed its trans to the aux cooler only, no connection to the radiator.  See pic below:

Makes sense, I possibly recall this mentioned here before.  So the engine oil cooler is in the radiator?  I would assume engine oil would be much hotter than ~210 degree operating temperature of coolant so that makes sense, "cooling" it to somewhere around ~210 degrees from something that would normally be much higher.

Disregard my original comment. Weird this forum doesn't allow posts to be deleted.

I see GM-Trucks email notifications suddenly began working today again so I got to see your deleted comment about how the engine oil is cooled by airflow passing through the radiator.  While that is true the temperature of the radiator itself also cools or increases the temperature.  Since I believe the engine oil would be much warmer than ~210 degrees I'd have to say that the coolant (and airflow of course) are cooling the engine oil together.  Subsequently some of that heat is also making its way from the engine oil to the engine coolant too.

Yes.  Engine oil goes to the radiator.  If you ever get the chance to watch live data, engine oil temp typically runs within 10 degrees of coolant temp at operating temperature.  Towing would raise it I'm sure a bit more, probably 220-230F.  Used to watch it in my brother's 2014 Camaro, oil was consistently 205-220 degrees, just above coolant temp at 195F.

Live feed about 2 hours in on a 60 F day. 6th gear. 3.23 final drive. 31" H/T tire.

This is an average day for Pepper.

This truck has both oil and trans coolers in the radiator.

Drivers side oil, passenger side transmission.

(opposite the V8 models)

170 F water thermostat.

No secondary trans cooler in A/C condenser.

Pill flip in transmission.

More Cold weather data.....

Yesterday went to Daughter's about 15 miles down the interstate.

Temp was -14F

20 minutes warm up , trans was 70°F out the driveway and warmed to 90° on the streets leading to the interstate.

Got on interstate hit 70mph. Watched it drop to 84° and stayed there until the exit.
