I just got some used factory side steps, however they came without the mounting hardware. Does anyone know what hardware and sizes are required to install the side steps?

Thank you in advance

Not enough information, there are many "dealer installed" factory steps.
Mine has a dealer installed factory step but I've seen many variations.
Which ones did you purchase?
Here is what I have:

These are mine, Don't know what bolts they require and then what type of nut receives the bolts

Not sure, I have seen those steps but I only know the mounting of the ones I have.
Had to remove them and reinstall when I did the body lift to get better jacking points on the body.
Still, someone here may be familiar with this version.

Those are factory, on my guess of 75% of K2's.

Call you local Chevy parts (dealer) and ask for the bolt for GM (84106505). If I remember correctly, the bolts just thread into the frame, no nuts needed for them.

Indeed, Jim, they did on mine when I removed and re-installed during the body lift effort.
However, I'm unsure if one didn't have a dealer installed step if those mounting points already exist?

Thinking it should, as they are a option from the factory.

In most cases, dealer installed is kind of a scam, meaning they do not ship trucks with the running/assist steps installed because they would get destroyed when they pulled the truck off of the train/car hauler. So when the trucks/cars arrive, they have a bunch of parts that need to be, "installed by dealer" somewhere inside of them, or on site.
