GM Accessories Rip off (package never shipped, and they refuse to do anything about it)

I was able to get ahold of the dealers parts department a couple times, the scenario is the same.  They take my name, put me on hold about 10 minutes, come back saying they looked up my order, they can see my order but can't see the details.  Take my name/# and say they will call me back when they find out more info.

Strange.  The dealer's GM Accessories interface will show a tracking # right on their screen in your order.

I really wish I worked at the dealer you are dealing with as I'd love to find a way to help figure this out more.

This is what the dealer sees.  Bottom left you will see "FedEx Tracking Number".  If its blank there at the dealer's end, its on the ADI to fix this issue:

In some good news I did finally just go to the dealer today, spoke to a new parts person, who then spoke to a manager, and about 30 minutes later it sounds like they are going to ship a replacement set of tow hooks.  They didn't seem to happy about it, and I'm sure it's probably not their fault at all, seems like they are just an unfortunate middle man.

That said I'm sure I spent about 5x the cost of the parts in my time and annoyance but if nothing else it provided some interesting information on how the system works.  Of course I'll probably never have another issue so it won't' matter :)

Sounds like it is hopefully sorted out  - good to hear.

The dealer can take it up with GM.
