Trailer TPMS initial readings are incorrect

I have a 2021 Sierra 2500HD Denali and installed four trailer tire pressure sensors on my two axel trailer tires. They are synced to the dash app but after highway driving they seem to retain that pressure and temperature the next morning. I have to reset them by letting air out of the tires or drive with the trailer couple of blocks to get them reading the correct pressure and temperature. Is this normal?

I've noticed the same thing. Temps/pressure seem on start up seem to be the same as when it last shutdown. After driving a brief distance though, they appear to drop down to the correct temp/pressure. Both my 2019 and 2021 performed this way. Not very convenient if you are using it to check temps prior to leaving.

Thank you for the quick reply. I agree, not very convenient, but I love the ability to monitor on the dash display.

I called GMC Customer Care twice and three dealerships in different cities & states and could not get an answer.
