Anybody been checked if front shock of 2019-21 ( new style) fit on ‘14-18 models?

Interesting question. Could you educate me on what's different?

Pretty sure there’s nothing different in terms of basic spec between the T1 shocks and the K2 shocks until the new ZR2 becomes available with its DSSV shocks.

the OP’s question is likely because they have a some T1 stuff available to them and want to use it.

The main issue I’d expect is slightly different tuning because the T1’s tend to be somewhat lighter than the K2’s.

No.  They will NOT fit.

- The strut mounting holes will not line up.  T1 mounting pattern for the strut mount is oriented different than K2.

- Mounting stud to stud the T1 ones are wider apart, almost a whole inch.

- The T1 shocks are almost 3 inches LONGER than K2.

Remember, T1 trucks are on the entirely new T1 frame.  Shares no components other than maybe fasteners from K2.  Completely ground up.  The front suspension setup and geometry isn't the same either.

K2 was 95% the same frame as GMT-900 so K2s origins date to 2007.  The only T1 parts that 100% fit are wheels.  I do believe that the front brakes can be converted to fit a K2, but I have not tried and have no confirmation on this.
