I enjoy watching PF’s videos. He’s the reason why I went with the endurance blades.

Yup same here. He missed the mark on this one. I should’ve known when I heard the noise in the video.

Taking my truck to the dealer next week for an oil change (I get it free from my warranty) and a transmission fluid change (I've read they just empty and replace but I'm OK with that).
Also, even though I don't really need it right now, I'm going to get a refresh on the wiper blades with new ones.
Should be interesting to see if the replacements are as good as the original ones I currently have. I'm going to test that. :)

They will be if you insist on the blue wrapper OEM direct replacement parts. They have two other lesser grades of many parts.

Thanks, I'll check on that with my service guy. :)

Anybody have good suggestion for wiper blades. I use the recommended 22” size blades and without fail the drivers side leaves streaks and spider web water designs. I have tried top of the line blades and GM dealership blades.

If you getting streaks NO MATTER which blade you are using including the OEM direct replacement....it isn't the blade.

  • Could be your method or definition of 'clean enough'.
  • Could be a lack of rubber lubrication.
  • Could be the wiper arm spring is weak.
  • Could be the wiper arm is bent or improperly indexed.
  • Could be you have a defect in the glass.

I had an individual OEM direct fit blue wrapper blade do this on the wife's Terrain and it in fact turned out to be a hard spot in the rubber of that blade. Took me months to figure this out. Dealer replaced the defective blade upon request and proof of purchase. OEM has a replacement warranty. Yes, you could even get two lemons in a row. Feel the rubber.

I offer this for others that haven't tried multiple vendor blades and continue to have streaking issues.

Using the wiper blades to "clean" the windshield along with spraying methanol everywhere can contribute to this as well.

Constant use of "automatic car washes". Once the soft cloth is packed with grit it's bad news for pretty much everything. There is a dude at work that buys a montly subscription to the local car wash and uses it every day rain or shine.

OCD is a hellva drug.
