2017 Silverado LTZ - Rt Rear Tail Light stays illuminated w key off

My 2017 LTZ Silverado has an issue with the right Rear Tail Light. The lights seem to work as normal with Key On, but when I turn the key off one LED in the lam assy stays lit. It is odd that is only one of the many LEDS in the light, I am at a loss and need some advice on where to go with this

I had a problem with my 2018 Silverado LTZ last year. The right rear tail light would light but no signal or brake light. 

Unfortunately the whole assembly has to be replaced with the led lights. Luckily I was still under warranty at that time. Hope this helps, good luck.

Unfortunately, I am not under warranty and I would like to be able to diagnose further before I chance a $600 tail light assy
