THE YETI
If I'm posting in the wrong forum I apologize, still navigating these forums. I'm going to replace the small bowtie on the grill of my LT with a black one. How do I pop it off without breaking it or more importantly the grill itself? THE YETI
Ya I've been there on previous trucks. I've already ordered the black replacement piece. Just want to know the proper way to pop it off without breaking anything? I'm good at breaking things...
THE YETI
Well I decided to pry each side and pop it off without some plastic trim removal tools. End result, the old ones off and the new ones on. In hind sight it might be best to get a hand on the back side of the grills attachment points and squeeze them inward towards each other when prying off the emblem to avoid damaging the attachment points on the grill. Anyway just giving some advice/info for anyone else looking to reach their stock mini bowtie and try to avoid breaking any plastic pieces.
