Yeah, this is why I'm off-topic.
My Dad died recently and my Mom now has a this truck to figure out how to sell.
Not now, maybe in a moth or two. Gotta a lot of stuff to sort out prior and I'm in Florida and she's in Colorado.
I'll be driving out next month.Just flew in and out last week for the funeral.
Just looking for guidance on selling options to help her out.
Prices are crazy right now, it's a diesel (not sure which but it's biggun;)
Anyhoo, that's about it.

My mother drives a 2000 one ton since new. She’s 83 and will not give it up. It’s approaching 200K miles. Probably the best and toughest diesel ever made. If it’s clean they bring a pretty penny.

It's a 7.3 Powerstroke, the last of the dinosaur diesels if you want to call it that. People love them around here.

They are a lot less powerful than the 6.0 and later powerstrokes but those 7.3's can run forever.

A local guy near me likes to buy old ford trucks from out west and sell them here. He is asking for high teens to right around 20k for clean rust free examples and people are paying that. Even with 200,000 miles on the ODO people will stay pay alot for clean body trucks.

That's very unfortunate. Hope everything turns out okay for you and your mom, soon.

Sorry for your loss. Give yourself time to grieve. I was faced with a similar scenario several years ago and know the dollars and cents are a very small part of the process.  Don't rush.  I bought and kept my Dad's much loved truck for 10 yrs. and still found it hard to sell!
