Choices I need to make

Recommended Posts

So, I’ve had a 17 1500 5.3. Sold it and had to get a car then now I’m in need of a truck again. This time I’d need a 3/4 ton but I’m sticking to gas engines.

Since car truck prices are crazy and I have an option of buying a 2015 or 16 2500 with 6.0 with 150-180k miles or a 2014-16 ram 2500 with 5.7 or 6.4 with 80-100k miles. About the same price. What would be a better one to go to keep it and daily drive it for a while?

I dunno, as much as I don't want a Ram, I'd err on the side of mileage.
Still, if the Chevys have all of the service history, that could be an option.
Too little information to go with, for a realistic opinion.
Also, you're in the 2500 class, this isn't the place ...

I’d check to see if the Rams have cylinder deactivation. If they do I’d go with the 6.0. I’d want service records on any used vehicle. My 02 Avalanche if it wasn’t for the odometer or the drivers seat leather. I’d swear it was a year old at 177K miles.

Welcome to the site fellow Western Washingtoner.

Have you had a chance to drive either, kick the tires, and really look them over? What lot's are they one?

Don't mind MIkeBMW, he is kind of a model snob🤣😂🤣😂
