So does this mean all the amsoil self testing and paid for comparisons aren't legit and amsoil really is just a pyramid scheme for guys and a slight above average oil at best? Did I read that right?

Tyler I wanted to revisit this post and I did a great deal of research to do so but something in my text this site is blocking.

But I see I can PM you the information. So it's just blocking it from general distribution. Hum.....

AMSOIL perfered customer MAGAZINE "Tech Talk" Fall 2021 by Mark Nyholm

"You could have a group III-based engine oil with a top-shelf anti-wear, antioxidant and other additives that outperforms a Group IV base oil, even though Group IV base oils provide more pronounce benefits than a Group III base oil. The Point is, an oil can't be judged solely by it'[s base oils - the entire formulation must be taken into consideration"

I read this and laughed. First post of this tread was the discovery that AMOSIL SS is a good deal Group II mineral oil mixed with PAO. Group II not an Ester as a base oil. We know that it can not be a Group III/PAO as they share the same non-polar molecular structure. Thus it has to be a polar blend leaving Esters, which they are not (consult the MSDS) or a Group I or Group II and the further up the food chain you go the more of the less polar base that must be used to reach an Aniline point that will hold their MASSIVE (This they imply in detergency and AW levels) additive package.

So now we are saying we can put a PAPER link in a STEEL log chain and with enough additives make the paper element stronger than steel?

Pure marketing hyperbole.

Yea, You could have, but you don't.

Name one.
