Door Frame Roof Rack Anchors

I have a 2018 Silverado 1500 Double Cab.  I've found a roof rack which I plan to transport a canoe with but I do not like the straps going through the cab.  My father and brother have old roof racks that attach to the top door seal and I'd like to swap my straps out for such a bracket.  that said, I haven't been able to anchors that look like they'll fit properly over the door frame.

 

Does anyone have brackets like this that they like using?

I'd totally have gone that route but have a cap on the truck. That's why I went with the bars on top.
