Anyone have any luck getting GM. power running boards for there HD.

Mine took 6 months but they finally made it here with the truck. The order started out as a 21 but ended up reordering a 22 due to delay.

Installing after the fact? My '21 AT4 came with them installed.

My 22 AT4 came with them already installed. Waiting on my heated and cooled front seats to be activated though. Said it may be Q2 of 2022.

For those of you that have them installed could you take a measurment from the ground to the board when it is down?

It's like 12 1/2" plus or minus. Factory boards, 2021 2500.

I looked into ordering the factory electric steps last year, if I found a 2021 I wanted without them.
I got a resounding “No” from a few dealers. If they did not come with the truck from factory, Amp Research is your only option.
The truck is programmed in the radio, dash button, BCM, TCM, etc for the factory electric running boards.

Ordered and waited 3.5 months.

I've had amp research on my 2016 and these are, so far, much better. They have an led light strip that runs the entire length of the board, looks good at night.

Amp is not the only option. Rolling big power makes a motorized step (might be hard to come by right now). Rough Country also makes a motorized step.

It's really disappointing that you can't order the factory steps. They weren't available due to the chip shortage but I really wanted them - so now I'm SOL.

I have them on my current 2022 high country and they are on the new high country I have in order. I think they are prioritizing them on the higher trim models.
