Decal Removal

Has anybody successfully removed the Air Bag decals that Chevy places on the sun visors??? I think they suck!!! I started to pull them off but it looked like I was about to make a big mess. They don't look like they will peal off cleanly because of the sun visor velor-type material and if I do get them off I don't know if any adhesive will remain on the sun visors. Any ideas or hints???

Shark.......They are heat transfered on......I can think of NO way to get

them off without destroying the darn mousefur on the visor !

Jones NTN Exactly how did you get the decals off WITHOUT screwing up the sunvisor? Several folks on another forum have suggessted using a heat gun or hair dryer but none of them actually said that they had taken the decals off of their turck using the heat method. I really want them off - but I don't want to screw up the sunvisors.

Mine were regular stickers and the area they were stuck to on the visor was plastic, peeled right off.
