2016 Silverado 6L80 transmission trouble, won’t engage into drive or reverse unless I rev it up

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have a 2016 Silverado, 5.3 and 6L80 transmission, i just had the transmission replaced with a remanufactured one from Detroit axle, it was giving me trouble from the time I drove it out of the mechanics  parking lot, so they covered it under warranty and sent me another one, just had it installed and it’s doing the same thing, it will not engage into drive or reverse unless I give it some gas and it kicks in hard, and also, as I come to a stop at a red light or stop sign, it feels as though it kicks into neutral and will not move forward until I rev it up and it kicks in and clunks hard.. the fluid level is good. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance

Had the transmission replaced twice in less than a month, didn’t fix the issue, had multiple mechanics look at it, nobody could figure it out, so I traded it in on a new truck, and not a Chevy. I made the dealership aware of the issues it was having  and they said they will fix it. Thank you all for your help
