2-3" Lift for Yukon

Recommended Posts

I have a 2001 Z71 Tahoe and I just put a 3" Performance Accessories body lift on it. I also put ford torsion bar keys on it and just installed 315/70R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires.

Anyway, what are you looking to do? Is it 4x4? Do you want a body lift or suspension? My body lift cost roughly $300 and I installed it myself. A suspension lift will cost you quite a bit more and more than likely you will have to have it installed by a shop.

It all depends on what you are wanting to do.

If you only want 2 or 3 inches, I'd go with a body lift. The Performance Accessories kits are very complete and will not affect your ride like some suspension lifts will. Also, you can't beat the price. You could crank up your torsion bars but you will probably only gain 1 to 2 inches of lift on the front only by doing this.
