Borla atak with electronic valve before resonators

2021 AT4 6.2L. 
 

I’m thinking of putting the Borla Atak muffler on the truck, but adding an electronic valve before the stock resonator. Either way would be legal, but it gives me a quieter option for early morning starts, etc. 

 

 

Am I missing something or would this work?
