Not sure if you're all commenting in regards to the 2021 model year or not, but the brochure definitely makes this difficult to follow.

The way the brochure is written, it seems to say (when you first read it) that the two TB trims and the HC trim don't include the two speed transfer case, but that's because it's baked into the base trim. Really stupid way of writing up the various features for the packages and trims.

It -appears- that the Max Tow package has no relationship to the availability of getting 4L.

redwngr and onthereel know their truck features.... they always seem to know packages and what certain ones come with.....i would take their word over GM brochures (as they have been misleading at times). lol

NQH

Transfer case, two-speed, electronic Autotrac with push button control (4WD models only)
1 - Included and only available with (X31) X31 Off-Road Package or available as a free flow option on TK10903.
2 - Included and only available with (X31) X31 Off-Road Package.
3 - Included and only available with (L87) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine or (X31) X31 Off-Road Package.

NOTE Standard on AT4, Denali. Custom Trail Boss, LT Trail Boss, High Country

The 1, 2 and 3 are references to trim levels.

Note 1 is for base sierra

Note 2 is for SLE and Elevation

Note 3 is for SLT

6.2 is not available on Base, SLE or Elevation, so that's why note 3 is the only one that mentions the 6.2

On silverado the notes are for Z71 instead of X31:

NQH Transfer case, two-speed, electronic Autotrac with push button control (4WD models only)
1 - Included and only available with (Z71) Z71 Off-Road Package. Free flow requires Regular Cab model.
2 - Included and only available with (Z71) Z71 Off-Road Package.
3 - Included and only available with (Z71) Z71 Off-Road Package or (L87) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine.

Note 1 is WT

Note 2 is LT

Note 3 is RST and LTZ

NQH is not available on Custom

It is standard on Custom TB, LT TB and HC

6.2 not available on WT or LT, so not mentioned in the note.

Max tow (NHT) has many notes / restrictions.   Seems like generally it's not available with Z71 or X31 (I won't guarantee I didn't miss an exceptions)

NHT is also not available on the lifted trucks (both TB's and the AT4) and not available on Elevation or Denali (it is available on HC as long as it doesn't have Z71) and not available with 22's.

Nope. It is just GMs de-contenting wherever they think they can get away with it.
