New to the truck world please suggest

just recently bought a 78 gmc 4x4 fleet side. for the past couple weeks ive been workin on a few odds and ends mostly the exterior and a few un adjusted valves but im wantin to make this junker into a beauty. i really dont have much money to invest in this sense im gettin married in about 6 months and have to save for sever things which leads me to my question

 

what are the best places to find stock and aftermarket parts for my model. im mostly in need of patch panels, interior peices such as wiper motor switch assembly and heater assembly. also are there any modifications to this stuff that people have been doin to upgrade or what.

 

btw the truck has a 4 inch suspension lift and 33 inch mudders and the only thing i have replaced are the side mirrors from jcwhitney. thanks for any reply
