Prescription sunglasses with progressive polarized lens ?

Quick query for those who wear prescription sunglasses with polarized lenses.

Just picked up new pair and cannot read the LED DIC setting to speedometer when driving.

New regular progressive glasses read it fine.

Optometrist checked prescription and it is correct.

Anyone experienced this?

Third pair of progressive polarized sunglasses in past 20 years and have never had it occur before.

Never experienced the sight problems some have with progressive lenses either.

Take the glasses (or your head) and turn them 90 degrees and see if you can see the screen that way.  If you can then it's just the way the lenses are polarized.  I had the same problem with an old phone.  The way the screen was made "clashed" with my sunglasses and I couldn't use my phone in landscape.

Yeah I have the same problem! Next pair is just going to be plain prescription sunglasses! Other problem is in most of the farm equipment I operate the polarized makes stripes all over the cab glass. Pain in the butt!

Yeah, polarized is great on the water and hunting, but, with polarized window tint, or a dash screen with manual touch, not so good.
I had a Panasonic touch screen for Apply Car Play in an old car and, if I held my head at the right angle, the screen would just disappear.
