I drilled a 1.5” hole instead of the 1.75. I took a small dremel bit and made the hole just big enough for the light. I had the diffused on my current and previous truck. They are great for hooking up trailers. They are super bright. Look on YouTube( Ridgid industries ignite lead beam) at the difference in the different light beams.

Nice! How did you wire them in? Was it to a console mounted switch or did you tie into the reverse lights? Also, wash your truck dude ?

This is what I decided to do on my 2020 GMC Sierra 1500
lasfit t15 led bulbs

rigid ignite flush mount diffused.
does not wash out the rear camera.

I wired them to the reverse lights for now. Eventually I want to wire them into the bed lights so I can turn them on/off. I like a clean look so I didn’t put a aftermarket switch on the console.
every time I wash the truck it snows 6-8”.  I can’t keep it clean for more than a couple hours

Hmmmm, I like the idea of wiring them to the bed lights.......  I may do just that.  Way easier. And I dont think they will pull to much power off that circuit.

I miss the switch my F150 had in the bed to turn the bed lights on.

This is exactly what I installed. Perfect light dispersement,  bright and doesn’t glare out the camera. I will try to post a pic tonight. Main reason for install was with windows tinted rear visibility at night was too low. Problem solved!

super easy install.

Nice to hear. Mine has been on order.

UPDATE: 2/20/2021 received it and installed and it is awesome. Much brighter than I thought it would be. I ordered the VLEDS LP version in 5500K.

That looks awesome time to add it to the list!  I put these led in the reverse of my 21 Silverado, no camera washout and brighter.

Did these on the plates, 2+ years on my 16 and no issues.
