My ‘18 LTZ headlights were amazing.  The headlights in my ‘21 RST are average at best.

I think just the opposite ....my 18 sucked, the 20 has better lighting.

LEDs are picked up differently by the eye ...and it's said that they do dim after a while.  I dunno.

GMC Is the same.  My AT4 blinds people, but light output just dosent have much umph.    They are always flashing me because i dont realize my high beams are on.  It looses intensity the furthur away you get.  Its like some cheap harbor freight led light.  You stare at if and go blind.  But the output is poor..

I think this is a great description. My lights are really bright where they put light. Trouble is they don't throw light very far or wide, even in high beams. I think I've seen somewhere on the Forum you an get a harness that keeps the fog lights on while the highbeams are on. I may try that.

Boostautoparts.com has a kit that turns all lights on when on bright. It keeps the dim and fog bulbs on while on bright.

They are fine around town.  And yes, better in some way then my older trucks.  But when my high beams go on, I want things to get brighter.  Not just aim my beam a little higher. And that what I feel happens.  High beams just go a little higher.  They do not add anything to the width of the light.

I am going to find a shop and fabricate a light bar for my truck. Because when I am on a back road or open highway.  I want to see every inch of the road.  Especially in the rain.

Added HID LED High Country lights to mine . She’s bright .  Next fog lights and then it’s all finished up

Might be a dumb question but did you have to change out the whole headlight assembly or were you able to change the bulbs. I have a 21 TB and cannot find any dust cover for the bulbs. Neither can my brother who is a mechanic.

Drivers side LH.      : 84621852
Passenger side RH  : 84621853

That’s the fully assembled  headlight assembly including  lights  part numbers that comes installed on the high country’s from the factory.   I bought them new straight from GM.  The 19-21 is all same part number.

So our only option, short of a big dumb light bar, is getting the $800+ High Country lights? What is the difference in the High Country and our lower line LT and RST lights?
HID LED vs LED. Turn signals are also LED.
