Here is my project today .

I got this radio from tom for a great price (thanks man)

It is quite an upgrade from my aftermarket panasonic now ive got both cassette and cd

I have a ? for you peeps though ... how does the TheftLock stuff work on those? I ask b/c I just put an aftermarket receiver in mine and was thinking bout sellin the factory piece. I didn't want to stick somebody with a radio that wouldn't work for em though.

I have instructions on how to unlock the radio if theftlock is activated if you would like them

nope just slid in until i heard the click

I have the same scanner as you! I love that thing for road trips, get to listen to them doing speed checks by airplane and the cop warning works pretty well.

Comes in good incase your portable goes dead you can still hear if people are calling for you

heh.. i got the same one in my tahoe aswell. i got mine mounted into the little

cubbie hole thingie under the HVAC controlls (slides in perfect).

I am a little confused...did you put in an aftermarket HU or re-install an OEM HU??
