Well my 2014 GMC Denali is gone

Almost 6.5 years and 124k miles. Despite all the issues, I really liked that truck. The 6.2L/6 speed combo was a beast. She will be missed. Replaced with a 2021 truck of a different manufacturer. Gonna stay away from GM for a while and see what happens.

Good luck with your new truck.

Post some pics, always nice to see the the other brands up close without having to step on their lots.

Have had many issues with my 14 Sierra as well.  Only 50k miles on it. Thinking of a different breed myself. Love the GMC though other than the issues. Most out of warranty. What did you go with? Keep us informed with your thoughts on the new truck.

New rams are nice. I think the quality still isn’t there when you get in and touch things but the price of the truck reflects that.

Not a Ford guy myself but the 5.0 is a beast

I really like the new GM trucks, more then ford or ram. Even with their screens and whatnot. Except the ram Laramie longhorn I really like that model. I’m surprised another GMC didn’t make it in your driveway BUT that’s how it goes sometimes. Lol

The point of my post wasn’t to start another tired “GM vs another manufacturer” post.

My point is that I am severely disappointed with GM’s quality based on my experience with my 2014 K2 and also reading about the ongoing issues now 3 model years into the new generation. These things prevented me from rebuying a GM product.

I didn’t think you were trying to start one of those posts

Competition is stiff out there!

Multi billion dollar corporations competing for your business and putting out the best products they’ve ever made

Cant be out there having problem child’s

But it happens!

I really wish GM would do a real leather type deal like rams Laramie longhorn I can’t get enough of that trim package

I also like two tone paint

No worries man. Just didn’t want this to degenerate into the usual GM vs other manufacturers. That’s why I specifically did not mention what I got.

Ford is crap, Ram is expensive "looking" crap, Toyota is a dinosaur and everyone else isn't worth mentioning. Oh... And GM has lost it. They forgot about the customer and started thinking about their wallet after the bailout. They stopped making trucks we wanted, and started telling us what trucks were supposed to want. Meanwhile those other two can't stop comparing wiener size.

And now were all supposed to buy ev's that cost a gazillion dollars. Which is funny because they should actually be cheaper to make imo. And for those of you that are mechanics, better start coming up with a plan b right about now.

Morning tlaw.  This is a bit off the subject, but do you still have 2019 4 piston calipers and rotors?  Do you know what size rims are a minimum they fit on?  Thank you.  Want to upgrade my 2005 Sierra that has 18 inch 2018 takeoffs.  Thank you.
