20" wheel and Wrangler Territory tires on 2021s

Recommended Posts

Anyone seen this out in the wild yet? I'm curious how this combo looks, especially on the TB.

I've searched dealer's online ads for the 2021s, but they either all have 18" with the Duratracs, or they are the phony computer pics that make the trucks all look like they have a 2" level on them.

I ordered an AT4 last month and had wanted to get the new Territory tires however it wasn’t a selectable option by the dealer. The option was displayed but they couldn’t select it. There was an asterisk stating it wasn’t available at the start of production. I asked for a timeline but they weren’t able to give one.

So instead I’m still getting the 20” carbon grey wheels with stock tires, and am going to change them out to “LT” BFG KO2 tires when it gets to the dealer. Which is supposed to be before Christmas.

Thanks for the feedback! I had wondered if they were still not available or not... even though it’s possible to build a truck online with them as an option. ??

I stand corrected. Wonder why they dropped in size? Maybe that’s all that’s available in that tire model? Seems odd that the factory lifted trucks have shorter tires than my normal 4x4.

Only thing I can think of is either money or maybe they didn’t want to mess with MPG?  Same reason why trail boss could use little more side wall. The Rebel size is perfect

Here is the Wrangler Territory MT on the Ram TRX and the Ford Bronco.  Ram is using it on the TRX, Ford on the Bronco and GM on the Trail Boss/AT4:

For being an "MT" tire, there looks to be fuel economy minded design in addition to MT capability.

I think the TRX actually had a Territory AT and MT option. I just watched a video review from TFL last night and they had Territory AT’s in the snow. I think.

anyway, I’m just curious how they look on the TB, as the 18’s and Duratrac OEM combo always looked to puny to me. IMO RAM nailed it with the 20” and 35s on the TRX.

My dealer was able to order mine with 20's 3 weeks ago. The Teritory tires are 32.8 tall and weigh 42 lbs. I will be selling those and putting on 34" Nitto Terra Grapplers, 47 lbs and a leveling kit to get it set up the way I want it. Would go 35" but don't want E rated tires. Did that before and killed mpg's and ride quality.
