Paint color to match the gloss black on front of Trail Boss

Does anyone know the paint code to match the gloss black on the front of a trail boss?  Looking to touch up some nicks on mine.

Your dealers parts department should be able to get you the paint code for it as well as the touch up paint.

got paint code from Dealership / Parts - Brought it Local - Cheaper .

Look it up on Dr Colorchip and order a kit. Does a much better job than the paint touch up pens from the parts department. Mine is Onyx black, and they had it.

To each their own but I’d rather pay Amazon $3. Probably costs at least that much to drive to the dealership not to mention the time and effort.

Where is the paint code sticker on these trucks?  I didn't see it inside the drivers side door or in the glove box.

The old RPO code sticker, which is where you would have found your paint code, is a thing of the past. Now you'll find a QR code on the sticker inside your drivers door. Use a QR reader on your phone and it will list your RPO Codes. Also, your dealership should be able to get you a build sheet (I ask for one with every purchase) and it will give all the RPO codes for your truck and their definition.

I scanned the very small QR code which is on the tire pressure sticker on the inside of the drivers side door.  All it told me was the VIN number.  I must need some secret decoder ring software?

Well I even have the build sheet for my truck and don't see a color code on there for the black accents.
