Aftermarket lift for Trail Boss/AT4

There isn't a lot of lifts for the Trail Boss and AT4.  From the looks of the GM 2" lift kit, there isn't a lot of major differences between a non-Trail Boss/AT4 and Trail Boss/AT4 expect for the CV axles, shocks, lift blocks.  Theoretically, if you buy the non-Trail Boss CV axles from GM, a new aftermarket lift (for non-Trail Boss') will come with new blocks to replace the rear.  And then the front should already be good for new shocks or upper control arms.

 

What else about the Trail Boss/AT4 setup that makes the compatibility so different from a non-Trail Boss/AT4?  I know there is also the front camera and steering re-calibration, is this the show stopper?

 

Is the GM 2" lift really the same kit the Trail Boss/AT4 has or is there something else?

Let me get this straight: You want to lift a trail boss/AT4 with an aftermarket option for a regular 4x4 trucks by replacing the CV axles with normal 4x4 parts? How many inches are you trying to get out of this lift?
