Mike, I'm just wondering overall how happy you are with this set up and the was it casts light through the grill? I looked at the extremeLED site and are those the 14" lights? Thanks.

I'm happy with it and it cast decent light. I wanted the lights behind the grill so I had to give up some of the lighting for that. I am using the 14" lights and are very happy with them. I did add a second row of lights on top for no particle reason except I could. In hindsight I would not have done the second row because I don't see that much difference in the amount of light.

Thanks for your quick response. My current truck has a bumper mount 20" bar since the grill area was too tight for install it there, I agree that I much prefer them to be hidden in the grill. With that said, I suspect that even if I were to lose some output due to the grill, 2-14" bars would still be on par with my single 20" bar at a minimum. I've found a few vendors that offer either 16" or 17" lights with higher output, looking at your pictures it appears that there should be adequate clearance for the slightly longer lightbars, would you agree? Thanks again.

I have a 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LT Z71.  I have a Ranch Hand grill guard on the front.  So I want to move the $2000 of KC Hilights driving and fog lights over to it from my 2013 Silverado.  I won the lights in a contest.  I got the mounts put on the grill guard so I know where the the lights will be.  Then I did some inspection to see how to run the wires up to the switch box.  Ugh.  First issue was the shutters.  Second was I can't see any way to get wiring through the grill and into the engine bay.  Looks like Chevy has focused on controlling air flow so much that there aren't any gaps anymore.  Anyone know how to do route these light cables without having to disassemble the whole grill?
