NAPCO front axle brake upgrade

I have a 57 chevy 4wd with a NAPCO front axle. I was wondering what options are available as brake upgrades. As of right now, I have the stock drums and they completely suck. I would like to keep the NAPCO axle but I can't find any disc brake upgrades or what brake pads offer a greater coefficient of friction. Thanks for any input
