2019/2020 Exhaust Tips

Has anyone removed the square chrome exhaust off their Silverado? I would like to replace with dual chrome round tips ... I measured the OD of the tailpipe and I got 2.75". So my entirely ridiculous question is, what the heck size tip diameter do I use? There are a TON of 2.5" inlet, I am assuming that is way too small. There are some 2.75" tips and some 3.00" inlet size, so what do I choose? Has anyone else replaced the squares with rounds? Don't flame me, I did a search and came up with nadda. Thanks guys ...

They are stainless steel.  Powder coat them?

where did you buy yours?

Local exhaust shop.  They are weld on.  I'll sell you these if ya want?  I removed the entire exhaust and installed a Borla.

EDIT: They're coming to KY! 

 

For anybody still looking for quad tips, I found these in another thread. Looks like a quality product - I just prefered the larger tips on @lapoolboy truck.
