Anyone have duramax 3.0 w/ 3.73 rear?

Looking for some real world experiences. What are you getting for mpg?  Do you like the lower gearing? Couple trucks I’m looking at have the off road diesel package that comes with the 3.73 instead of 3.23.

Yes.  10k miles on my rig.  MPG depends.  Mix city/highway sometimes I get 24, sometimes 23.  Thats at 75mph.    Mine came with the MT tires, bed cover which I think improved my mpg by 1.  I did add a leveling kit to it.

 

I gave up on the mpg.  In the big picture of things it gets better mpg than my lifted 6.0 gasser that I sold and pulls much better.   It also gets better mpg than I expected from a truck.
