2020 silverado 2500hd adaptive cruise control?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, new here. I only got a simple question. I've recently purchased a new 2020 2500hd. And I've noticed that the steering wheel has an adapter cruise control gap setting button. But I can't figure out how to use the adaptive cruise cruise control? Any help would be appreciated!

It does not have adaptive cruise control.  That is probably gap setting for forward collision alert.

why not put it on these trucks? every other model line has this feature... and would it ever be possible to OTA update the truck to include a feature like this, considering the hardware is already in place?

Ford F-250 has adaptive cruise control option... but our "top of the line" GMC's do not. It's the one gripe I have about this model line!  The last three vehicles I've owned had adaptive cruise control, since my 2014MY Jeep Grand Cherokee.

That is the forward collision alert sensitivity.
