Good luck!  I took mine to the dealer with TSB in hand and they came back with it drove normally and told me the hard shift is normal (I didn't have shuttering).  I don't believe they even looked at my paperwork I printed out.  I said fine and shortly after sold the truck for what I paid for it and got into a 2020 6.2L 10-speed RST.  I had my '19 5.3L Z71 for 14 months and 12K miles and that was the only issue I had besides the bed being misaligned.  Sucks that the techs don't listen or care most of the time.  But for me it just so happened to be a great time to sell it and I'm happy with my 2020.  If I would have kept the '19 I would have of course gone back or to different dealers and what not.

Sounds like you have the same kind of dealer as me. No matter what I show them or print out for them, they always seem confused or like I’m the first person who has ever had that specific issue. And they are the largest Chevy dealer in TX.

I hate even saying this but maybe it’s because I’m female?? My stepdad owned a dealership so I was raised and worked in that environment 20+ years. I  did everything but sales & loved it! So I’ve been on both sides of the counter. I’m no expert but I’m not stupid.  

GM gave me a reference number - they said they’d contact the dealer and myself next week to figure something out. 

Lost me with the sentence I bolded. It's hard to take people seriously when they say things like that. The perception that somebody else has it better because of gender, skin color, etc is absolute nonsense. It's a big issue in today's society with BLM, Antifa, "Women's Rights", Democrats, Republicans, etc. Unless you've walked in the other person's shoes you really have no idea. At this point I'd likely tell you to go enjoy your Toyota Tundra. Remember, you catch more flies with honey than you do vinegar.

Woman, man, purple alien, whatever, you're smart. It's what's inside that counts. You present yourself as very capable. Don't diminish your capabilities. Imo, it's not me that you need to apologize to, but thank you. You need to believe in yourself, and not lessen your stature in this world.

2019 gmc 5.3,  8 speed transmission 60,000 miles started shuddering at cruising speeds.  Took to local dealership was told fluid was burnt and they found metal shavings. Says it needs to be replaced.  Luckily I purchased extended warranty when I bought this truck because they said the transmission is $7800.

Welcome to the forum. Get it fixed. That extended warranty is going to pay off for you. I would suggest a tranny flush and have then replace the trans. cooler (even if you have to pay for it). The cooler will trap metal and debris that cannot be flushed out.
