2020 Sierra SLT -Summit White

 

Noticed a small paint chip on the back of the cab on the driver's side. Truck is band new but stuff is bound to happen. Only went through first layer so it could have been worse. Do I get it touched up or live with it.

If it’s small enough, just do it yourself. If it’s only in the clear, touch up with clear. If it’s through the paint, use the white.

 

I’ve had to do quite a few little spots on mine. Nothing I would pay someone to do when you can get it to be almost unnoticeable by yourself with a $15 bottle of paint from GM.

Agree watch a few videos. It’s not difficult to get it close to original.

i just got one in my less than a month old black trailboss bought the touch up paint touched it up was trying to blend it in buffing it by hand with a micro fiber towel and meguires scatch remover and guess what i buffed through and burned the paint now i got to get the door re painted the body shop told me the paint on these new cars is junk and it does not take anything to go right through i am so upset this should never happen by hand wtf,,,,,, so any one trying to blend a spot in be very carefull
